MailChimp services were utilized to reach a large targeted audience of educators across the state. Digital sign-up forms at public events were used to add teachers to the mailing list. Emails were sent once a week, and multiple times a week, as we got closer to the live show.
Media Kit
A media kit was developed to help educators and others promote Field Trips within their local communities. Included was a press release, and a sample blog post for teachers.

Throughout the summer, social media channels were utilized to reach a wider audience. Ads on Facebook were purchased to enhance that reach even further. Social media content included behind-the-scenes promotional photos, fun facts about Indiana history, and information regarding the Field Trips live show and tablet application.

Social media posts like this one were common. When the team was on location shooting video, behind the scenes facts were shared about locations and subjects.
